HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

•We are currently recruiting a skilled and safety-conscious HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team. You’ll be operating a tipper vehicle based either at our Quarry at Hazelbank Quarry, Fountainhall, Near Galashiels, TD2 for aggregates, muck away, and site deliveries across Scotland. This is a physically active role requiring good awareness of site safety and driving regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Transporting aggregate materials, hardcore, and soil to/from construction and civils sites.
- Safe operation of tipper mechanism.
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and logs.
- Adhering to all road transport and site safety regulations.

Competitive rate of pay.
45-55hrs per week
Prerequisites
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience with tippers (minimum 6 months preferred)
- Good knowledge of local area and site safety rules
- No more than 6 points on licence – no DR, DD, or IN convictions
