Advance Construction Group Accreditations

ACS is committed to ensuring the best possible services for all our clients and has invested the resources for the implementation, auditing and continuing development and improvement of our management systems (Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental).

Our company management systems are all accredited to International Standards (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015) and British Standards (OHSAS 18001:2007) through a 3rd party certification company that are UKAS Accredited.

We also subscribe to other accreditation schemes as required by certain clients.

ISO9001
Quality management is fundamental in all of Advance Construction activities, with all divisions operating under our ISO 9001:2015 accredited Quality Management System. The complete management system is audited on a three-year cycle with surveillance carried out annually.
ISO14001
Environmental management is fundamental in all of Advance Construction activities, with all divisions operating under our ISO 14001:2015 accredited Environmental Management System. The complete management system is audited on a three-year cycle with surveillance carried out annually.
ISO18001
Health and Safety management is fundamental in all of Advance Construction activities, with all divisions operating under our ISO 18001:2007 accredited Health and Safety Management System. The complete management system is audited on a three-year cycle with surveillance carried out annually.
constructionline-gold
Constructionline provides an up to date national register of pre-qualified suppliers for construction contracts for both private and public sectors.
RISQS
This accreditation scheme is specific to the Rail Industry. All management systems are audited under this scheme and is evidence based. This scheme requires the company to provide evidence of compliance with all specific Network Rail Standards and Railway Group Standards.
UVDB
This accreditation scheme is specific to the Utilities Industry. All management systems are audited under this scheme and is evidence based. This scheme requires the company to provide evidence of compliance with legislation, best industry practices and our own management systems.
Safe-Contractor
A leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme, dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of relevant industry specific and tailored health and safety assessments for all professions and sectors.
NHBC-Safemark
Safemark is a pre-qualification assessment scheme that is Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) member-assessed.

Advance Construction have been assessed and as a company have acceptable health and safety standards that are compliant towards Safemark criteria for health and safety.

SMAS
SMAS is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement, SSIP that provides complete management of contractor H&S assessments.

Holding a valid SSIP Member Scheme certificate demonstrates that Advance Construction business health and safety standards have be assessed and are compliant to the SSIP ‘core criteria’.

CHAS
The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is a pre-approval scheme, which allows all divisions of the group to demonstrate to potential clients that they have met the required health and safety standards set by the accrediting body.
IIP
Not enough young people are pursuing careers in construction. Unless this trend is reversed, the growth of our sectors will be impacted.

To hedge against skills gaps as a business we are working with Investors in Young People to inspire young individuals to consider careers in construction.

The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is a mandatory energy assessment scheme that applies to large UK. In order comply, the scheme requires the company to record and report our energy data throughout the business over a 12-month period.
FORS
The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is an accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
