Great Scottish Run Half Marathon

ACS are wishing Willie Bradley, ACS Contracts Manager, the best of luck when running in the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon on September 30th.

He’s taking part in the memory of 2 people, a family friend and the other who is the wife of one of our site operatives, John Carroll who has been with ACS for 12 years.

Willie said “John Carroll lost his wife Patricia (we knew her as “Pat”) to cancer on the 27th September last year and she, along with John and their local church, raised thousands themselves for various charities throughout the years. John has been in my squad and been on my sites since job number 198 Dunlop, so I’ve got to know John and his clan fairly well. John still visits her grave every morning before collecting the men for his work.”

Last year Willie raised £3000 for MND when he took part in a 10k and we are sure he will have great success again with his fundraising.
